ALL girl!

Those of you who know Olivia well know that she was telling me something REALLY important in this picture....using her hands and everything! (Only wish I knew what it was she was informing me of!!)
Saying "cheeeeeese" for the camera!

Loving "Da Da's" lunch break!!

Today while I was getting ready Olivia decided to play dress up with my jewelry and shoes! The girl loves shoes, handbags, bracelets, necklaces....if it's girly....she LOVES it! It cracks me up how young these girly obsessions begin!! Boy, is her daddy in for it! She has enjoyed playing with my jewelry for several days now and today I finally grabbed the camera in time for a quick snapshot! She loooved checking herself out in the mirror with all her jewels!!! Hilarious!!
The last picture is of Rush and Olivia on Rush's lunch break today.....we only get to see sweet daddy at lunch time and dinner time these days and Olivia cherishes every second!! Just a few more days until tax season is over and we will have him back around!! We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished these last few months!!!

Easter Bunny = A No Go!

Our first attempt...she has the death grip on me.

Our second attempt....she is not believing her mother would do this to her!So, I accepted the fact that I would have to be in the picture.....however, apparently we were still too close for Olivia's liking!
Last and final attempt....I was worn out!

The girls enjoyed their suckers after all the drama!
Getting ready for lunch!

So, Monday we met some friends to have pictures made with the Easter Bunny. I knew it would most likely be a similar experience to the one we had with Santa in December. AND, I was right! The pictures say it all!! She is not all about anything dressed up or "un-natural" as Rush says!! This seems to be a common fear amongst toddlers since Lily and Maury had similar reactions! Pierce and Carter, the youngest of the bunch, were champs!! They both sat in the Easter Bunny's lap and even smiled! Once it was all said and done Olivia did enjoy the sucker she received! I'm not sure why I even try to get these pictures....I suppose despite how they turn out it's a memory for the scrapbook!!!
We also enjoyed a yummy lunch with the girls and even Rush got to meet us for a few minutes and a quick bite to eat!! Despite the horrifying Bunny experience, we still enjoyed spending time with some sweet friends!!!

A Girls Weekend...

Olivia's new apron from Uncle Michael and Kinsey!
Loving on Bella!

Priceless!
Yes, Olivia loved playing in Bella's crate!

Since Olivia refused to wear the Bunny Ears.....we thought we would!

Olivia opening her b'day present for Michael to watch via Skype!

The "girls" before church.

It seems like we have had loooooots of girls weekends around here lately with Rush working as many hours as he is. However, this weekend we had two more girls here to keep us company!! Michael's girlfriend, Kinsey, and her sweet puppy, Bella, came to town to spend some time with us and boy did we have a blast!! We so enjoyed their company for the weekend....it just went by way too fast!
Kinsey just got a new puppy last week and we were excited to find out she would be along for the weekend too!!! We were soo impressed by her sweet nature and disposition, especially with Olivia! It didn't take long for us to all loove little Bella!! Olivia absolutely loved the puppy more than any of us I think(not sure if that love was returned from Bella...ha) and was devestated to awake from her nap Sunday afternoon with Bella and Kinsey nowhere to be found.
Kinsey brought Olivia a birthday present from she and Uncle Michael that Olivia got to open while Michael watched via skype, which was pretty special! Olivia looooves her new apron and Big Bible!!! Thank you guys so much for the precious b'day present!!! Olivia has sure enjoyed wearing the apron already!!
It was an all around fun weekend full of shopping, good food, and fun girl talks!!! We miss you girls already and can't wait to plan another fun-filled weekend!!! Can't wait until Michael can be here to join us for our fun adventures!!!

"Under the Sea"

It's been a few weeks ago now (due to my inability to make time to blog) that we were invited by our sweet friend Rebecca who works at the McWane Center to come to a special viewing of the Under the Sea movie at the IMAX theatre. We were so excited to get to spend an evening with Rush most of all(since those evenings are slim to none right now), but it was also fun to take Olivia to the IMAX theatre for the first time. We were hesitant on how she would handle sitting still for 50 minutes, but she was a champ. She absolutely loved the movie, especially all the "ish." (fish) It was as if we were standing in the middle of the ocean! She also enjoyed her bag of popcorn and getting to sit in her very own seat....such a big girl!!!

April Showers Bring May Flowers.....

With all of the rain lately, Olivia has gotten a lot of use out of her little umbrella, rainboots, and raincoat! Although she mostly loves to use her umbrella inside rather than out. Hopefully, the saying about it being bad luck to open an umbrella inside isn't true.....if it is, we are all in a lot of trouble around here! Anyway, I snapped a few pics of Olivia prancing around the house with her little umbrella....I thought they were too cute to pass up!!

Dear Friends!

While we were in KY we met up with some sweet family friends! The Bates have been dear friends and such a part of my family's life since before I was even born. In fact, their girls are more like the sisters I never had than friends. So, getting to spend time with them is always a treat! Especially, since Olivia LOVES Beverly and Mrs.Fay!! She couldn't get enough of their hugs and kisses! It was too cute!! It was also fun to see Bev's growing tummy!!! She looks absolutely precious with her pregnant tummy and has a TRUE glow about her! It is so evident how much she already loves sweet Hannah Grace!!! Beverly is going to make such a sweet mommy and Mrs. Fay is already a pro at the grandma thing!=)
Thanks for the time we got to spend together and we can't meet Hannah Grace!!!

A Week With Gigi and Snoopy!

Olivia and I headed to Fort Knox last week to spend some time with my parents, "Gigi" and "Snoopy." We had a great time enjoying their company!! It was especially nice to have a little "mommy relief." It was also nice for Rush to be able to get some some good work time in without worrying about being home with us. We enjoyed Gigi's good cooking, explored some cute little neary-by towns, ate at some great restaurants, watched a few movies(mostly "mo-mo", aka Elmo...in fact, I believe Gigi and Snoopy are still singing all the Elmo songs....I think they are missing Olivia and her obsession with "mo-mo")and did some shopping! It even snowed a couple of times while we were there. I have to say....the temperature is quite a bit more frigid in Ft.Knox, KY than what we are accustomed to here. I was excited to get back to some warmer weather in AL!
Thanks Gigi and Snoopy for our sweet time together and the fun memories that we made last week!!!
